The Sims is the first game of the famous The Sims games series. It is the strategy based video game with life simulation i.e. the game tells the story of humans who passes through the life cycle. Sims also has limited power of their own that helps them work if left alone. In the game, everything needs to be scheduled by the player for better development.

More than 6.3 millions copies of the game have been sold through out the world thus making a record in itself. It is the world’s best selling PC game in history with such an unbeaten record. Seven expansion packs and further versions have also been released for the game. Presently developers are working on The Sims 3 that hopefully will release in the first quarter of 2009. Reviewers have acclaimed The Sims so much. It has got high praise for its open ended gameplay depicted so beautifully in the game.
