Delhi reported its first case of human-to-human transmission of the deadly H1N1 influenza virus on Sunday with scientists confirming
that an infected middle aged man who had recently returned from New York had passed on the virus to his 60-year-old mother, who had been nursing him for the past three days.

Four more persons have tested positive for swine flu in the national capital, taking the total number of those affected by the disease to 35 in the country.
With the new cases in Delhi, the number of those affected by swine flu in the city has risen to ten, but five of them have already been discharged from hospital after treatment.
"The four persons who have tested positive for swine flu in the capital are in hospital and undergoing treatment," Dr Shivlal, Director of National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), said.
