Unreal Tournament 3 is the designed by Epic Games and Midway Games do the sales marketing for it. Unreal Tournament 3 is a first person shooter game (FPS). It is created on Unreal engine e. Unreal Tournament 3 is the fourth game in the Unreal Tournament series after Unreal tournament 2004. Soon, I will review Unreal Tournament 2004 also. Well many people confuse Unreal Tournament 3 with Unreal tournament 2003 which is not the case. Both are different versions of the same Unreal series of games. Unreal Tournament 2003 had been merged with Unreal Tournament 2004.

Windows version of the Unreal Tournament 3 was released on November 19, 2007, and PlayStation version on December 11, 2007. Linux, Mac and Xbox 360 versions of Unreal Tournament 3 are yet to be released in 2008. It is available in both single-player and multi-player modes. Single Player comes with AI bots.

Unreal tournament 3 offers several game modes including Death Match, Team Death Match, Warfare, and Capture the Flag. It offers the same game play as offered by previous versions of the Unreal Tournament series games. Weaponry shown in Unreal Tournament 3 is similar to Unreal Tournament 2004.

Vehicles used in the Unreal Tournament 3 are depicted into two categories; Axon, and Necris. The teams in the Unreal Tournament 3 do not follow a plot based around the Tournament Grand Championship in single-player mode, unlike previous games of the series. So many teams do not offer competition in this version of the Unreal Tournament series.

Unreal Tournament 3 primarily is a multi-player online game. Epic games hold separate forum for the discussions about Unreal Tournament 3. On December 10, 2007, first patch for the game was released thus taking Unreal tournament 3 to the version 1.1. Patch is about 240 MB in size and accounts for many game changes and bugs fixing.
