Now is a good time to invest in a PlayStation if you don't already have one. The Watchmen: The End is Nigh- The Complete Experience would be an excellent choice for a first game. This is a totally packed package deal because it come with both 1 and 2 of the game and the movie too. The movie is so much fun to watch that it makes the cost acceptable right there. Finally there are some movies that are made truly in a comic book dark style.

The story behind the game is 10 years in the past, before the story that the movie was based on. It is a very different world. Naturally there is a ton of fighting with the requisite bad dudes. I love the fact that you can choose to be either Nite-Owl or Rorschach. Nite -Owl I can take or leave but Rorschach is a trip. I liked his character so much that I looked him up. A million years ago the actor that portrayed him in the movie was a one of the original Bad News Bears.

In the tale another of their costumed buddies has gone missing. They are trying to find out what happened to him. You get some good voice acting and the visual aspect is cool. The city is so dark that it feels like the book. The book was so cool that any similarities are nice. You can really imagine cruising around that mysterious landscape, running into thugs and gruesome murderers. It is a close to the real thing that you can get.

When the other costumed heroes pop in for a visit during the game it is awesome. I love to see them talking back and forth. The history behind it has made me a total fan, especially the tidbits that you see of the private lives of the heroes. When they are out their working clothes it is cool to see the person behind the mask. The battle does go on and on, so if you are into fighting you will be loving it.

Both fighters have different fighting moves and have different special moves for moving through the story. Again, this is not ground breaking or anything, but for fans of the book and movie, this is quite a deal. If you haven't picked up the movie on Blu-ray yet, this is definitely the way to go. Besides, there are tons of extras on the disc to give you more glimpses into the whole Watchmen universe.
