Dynasty Warriors 6 is the sixth installment in the Dynasty Warriors series of games. It is known by Shin Sangokumusō 5 in Japan. Dynasty Warriors 6 is hack and slash type tactical action packed video game developed by Omega Force and published by Koei. It was released in Japan on 11 November, 2007 while in North America it was released 19 February, 2008. Dynasty Warriors 6 is available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 only. Both single player and multiplayer versions of the game are available.

The plot for Dynasty Warriors 6 is set in the ancient China. The story was written on the basis of “Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, a Chinese Novel. It differs massively from previous games of the Dynasty Warriors series. In this version, players can play with their character, swim, climb etc. In Japan, Dynasty Warriors 6 comes bundled with the 40 GB PlayStation 3. In Dynasty Warriors 6, duels fights on the battlefield in the presence of the soldiers covering them by forming the circle. The game features enhanced bases in which player can enter by destroying the big door. Game follows all the 41 characters from the previous version, Dynasty Warriors 5. Seven characters had been deleted from the game and the Dynasty Warriors 6 faced a negative reaction from its fans. Dynasty Warriors 6 also features improved artificial intelligence. Enemy players can read player’s movements and can perform accordingly. New attacks such as Grapple are also introduced in the Dynasty Warriors 6.

As a whole, Dynasty Warriors 6 PC version got positive reviews from reviewers except the negative review that it got from its fans for deleting the seven characters from the game.
